Mission Statement
The Russian Hockey School, with its highly trained staff, utilizes proven European training techniques that have helped develop some of the most highly skilled players in the world. With our additional focus on leadership development and team building, we look to bring out the best in each player and return them to their hometown teams well rounded, much improved, team members and team mates.
Philosophy
Here at RHS the overall player is our focus, not just his skill development. Our intense training program including skating technique, puck control, shooting skills and accuracy, edge control and transition is just the beginning. In addition, we stress team communication, both on an off ice, team tactics and strategies, along with the importance of team chemistry. At RHS, we look to develop THE COMPLETE PLAYER.
Each week of camp is $1085 with room and board, and $575 without room and board. For more information and to sign up, call Nancy Holmberg at (631) 269-3900 or go to our registration page.
What to Expect / What's expected
Each player is evaluated the first day and re-evaluated at each week’s end. Coaches are accessible at week's end to discuss the experience of each individual player. RHS takes each individual, as well as the overall group's development, very seriously. Players should arrive committed to improving their physical AND mental approach to the game. This can only be accomplished in the proper environment. RHS demands proper, disciplined, respectful behavior towards other players, coaches, and all we come in contact with. RHS reserves the right to dismiss any players found not following these and other important rules and regulations, from the school with no refunds.
New for 2008!
